Soitec: large French group active in microelectronics, in 2009 it has acquired Concentrix, a German company that produces concentrated PV modules. This technology uses Fresnel lenses to concentrate sunlight up to 500 times on a small multi-junction cell. With this technology, Soitec achieved a 32.8% efficiency (the double of standard modules). With the first test in 2005, now the company has a installed 80 MW in 28 Countries.

Exalto has done the executive design and permitting for 3 plants of 1 MW each in Apulia.
