The group is active in dangerous and non-dangerous waste management. It manages a portfolio of around 3100 clients. The group helps companies reduce their environmental impact by increasing the quantities of recovered materials. 

Leachate treatment with biogas use in the landfill of Chivasso. 

Exalto's consultancy has focused on the landfill of Chivasso, in Northern Italy. The biogas is currently used to produce energy in a CHP and partly burnt in a torch. Exalto has designed and developed a heat recovery system from combustion gases of the torches to generate hot water. The heat will then go to a leachate drying plant, currently under testing, having as the only by product an inert mud.
